In September, Sons of the Wind School of Equestrian Arts Foundation proudly hosted the first United States appearance of the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art at our Merrimac, Massachusetts campus.

Harmony in Motion united riders, trainers, and enthusiasts for two days of immersive workshops and an extraordinary cultural showcase rooted in the historic Picaria Real tradition. Educational sessions explored lunging, work in hand, rider biomechanics, and the progression from foundational training to haute école, all grounded in ethical, welfare-focused methods.

This landmark collaboration honored centuries of classical tradition while affirming its relevance in the modern arena.
